To nominate a colleague or institution for one of the following awards, please send a short essay (250 words or less) to admin@bewiseonline.org explaining how that individual or group has made an impact in the field of elder financial abuse prevention. The awards are:

Sentinel Award

A lifetime achievement award presented to an individual who has successfully advocated for positive change in public policy or in the judiciary concerning the protection of elders from financial abuse and exploitation and the prosecution of those who abuse them.

Professional Leadership Award

Presented to an individual whose efforts have had a significant impact in developing innovative training models on the topics of investigating, prosecuting or litigating elder abuse, particularly elder financial abuse.

Visionary Leadership Award

Presented to an individual or organization who has had a profound impact on engaging a  community or new market in the business of elder financial abuse prevention.

Donald N. Phelps Community Service Award

Presented to an individual or organization that has made a significant contribution to the  prevention of elder abuse through the development of an innovative community-based partnership model to prevent financial abuse.
